Making a Donation

Although Positive Living North (PLN) has been providing HIV/AIDS/HCV programs and services to residents of Northern British Columbia, since 1992, HIV is still with us, stronger than ever.

Despite progress in prevention and treatment, HIV continues to cause great harm and loss in our Northern communities. This virus, which has killed millions throughout the world, continues to spread through the routes of poverty and oppression, and this is no different in the North. Donations help not-for-profit agencies such as PLN gather support and make a difference in our community.

Agencies such as PLN provide a wide array of programs and services designed to raise public awareness, prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS/HCV, reduce stigma and discrimination, and support people living with, affected by, or at risk of HIV/AIDS/HCV. Through our expertise and commitment, we are well situated within the region to effectively support individuals, service agencies and professionals, at-risk populations, and specific populations such as urban and rural Indigenous communities, in initiating and implementing strategies to stem the further spread of this virus.

Through the generosity and kindness of our many donors and supporters, PLN has been able to make a significant impact on the lives of our clients through our programs and services.

But the need for HIV/AIDS/HCV related programs and services has continued to grow. Although our client base continues to expand, funding decreases continue, and we are taxed by continually stretched resources.
